ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Step 1 : Gather and Submit Necessary Documents


Depending on your educational background and the program you’re applying to, you will need to provide the following:

 

  • $200 non-refundable deposit
  • Application Form, dated and signed
  • Passport
  • Copy of transcripts or degrees (Bachelor or Master)
  • English Proficiency Test:

Accepted: TOEFL score (minimum 450 or equivalent), or IELTS (minimum 4.5), Duolingo English Test* (minimum score 65-70), Pearson Test of English "PTE" (minimum overall score 29)  (For English Program, High School Diploma is sufficient)

  • Medical certificate (vaccinations for measles, mumps, and rubella)
  • Proof of Medical Insurance Coverage
  • Financial Requirements: 

 

Recent (< 60 days) bank statement or a letter from your bank or your sponsor’s bank if you have a sponsor (in English) showing you have sufficient funds for tuition fees and for the length of your study in New York. If you have a sponsor, they must also complete an Affidavit of Support.


*The Duolingo English Test is an online English proficiency test that can be taken online, on-demand, in under an hour for only $49. The test is taken via a computer with a camera and includes a proficiency score, video interview, and writing sample which are shared with Manhattan Institute of Management when you send your results. Certified results are available within 48 hours of the test session.

Step 2: Sending Documents


Submit original or certified copies only. A certified copy has an original signature of the registrar or other designated school official or the institution’s seal. Include an official English translation if the document isn’t in English.

Step 3: Admission Decision


1-2 weeks from full application

Step 4: Visa Application & Arrival in USA



MIM is authorized by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to issue the necessary forms. Once accepted, MIM will send you a letter of acceptance and an official form will be sent to you.  You can apply for a visa by going to your local U.S. Consulate or Embassy with your passport, MIM-issued forms, and appropriate financial information.
