With the exciting developments in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and applied optimization, the financial service industry is undergoing profound changes. New and efficient data-driven methods are being employed to address many of the fundamental problems arising in the financial service industry.
MIM is pleased to answer market demand by offering, starting in September 2020, a diploma program in Applied Financial Technology (or Applied FinTech-AFT) in New York City. This new program will be headed by Dr. Thomas F. Coleman (University of Waterloo, Fellow: Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics). This program is for foreign and domestic students with (or soon to receive) a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with some strength in the mathematical sciences, looking to expand their horizons in FinTech.
Upon satisfactory completion of the program, students will receive a “Diploma in Applied Financial Technology” certificate of completion from MIM as well as be eligible to receive the University of Waterloo's Certificate In Data Finance.
