The Manhattan Institute of Management (MIM) is a school that is comprised almost entirely of international students. The school trains future leaders in all spheres of professional life and also values the cultural experience that it provides to its students. Therefore, a trip to the United Nations for its Fall 2018 cohort on Wednesday, October 10th seemed like a perfect idea for helping its students get acclimated to the wondrous cultural opportunities that exist in New York City.
The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization tasked to promote international co-operation and to create and maintain international order. During their visit, students of MIM got to visit many of the rooms of the United Nations, including the general assembly, and were incredibly impressed by the experience. As Renz Karlo Alba, MIM’s student from the Philippines said, “To be able to see a location that I usually see on television from the Philippines thousands of miles away was an experience that I will never forget. It really is a dream come true to have visited the United Nations.”
MIM continues to turn aspirations into reality for its international students.
